Task 4: RSS Feeds

As I was setting up my RSS feeds, I wondered where I was going to find the time to keep up with all of this information that will be pouring in. There seems to be a built in assumption that I'm going to spend part of my day searching for interesting articles to read on the Internet. I'll have to see if the time I spend scrolling through the feeds really yields useful information.

  1. I am often surprised by how much useful information I find on the professional blogs I subscribe to. Instead of me having to go out and search for new and relevant information, it comes to me in one place. You must, however, be very careful about choosing what to put into your RSS - I find that I personally like having about 10-20 sites in my feed. When I find a new one, I try to delete an old one that I haven't found as useful. I'm interested to see what you think of it after giving it a try for a week or two...
